ASL LEARNING TRACK

VOCABS- BUILDING TRACK
Discover the captivating ASL Vocabulary building Track, offering 1.5-hour sessions designed specifically for your individual interests. Immerse yourself in the realm of American Sign Language terminology, with a special emphasis on your personal passions such as welding, auto mechanics, painting/art, math, sports, and various other intriguing topics. Unlock your potential and broaden your understanding in a dynamic and interactive setting.
INTERPRETING SKILL TRACK
Unlocking Potential: Empowering Interpreters with Essential Skills
This specialized track is for interpreters with less than 10 years of experience or recent graduates. Engage in workshops to excel in your profession. Explore ethics, space utilization, and classifiers for precise interpretations. Learn about self-presentation, trauma-informed interpreting, and soft skills to enhance professionalism.

HOUSING
On-campus housing options are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
For guaranteed availability, please register by May 02, 2024.
All attendees staying on campus will be housed in Billy Minardi Hall, a short 10-minute walk to campus. Each suite consists of a common living area space and 2 private bedrooms (XL twin beds*) with their private bathrooms. This video is a brief walkthrough of Minardi hall.

Participants can choose to bring their own linens (XL twin sheets, blanket, towel, etc.) or may choose to rent a linen set from campus housing for an additional fee (can be selected at registration).
